Hi! I’m Arika — owner and operator of Shear Madness Barbering Co. I’ve been in the hair industry since 2010 and still love what I do every day. Most of my career has focused on men’s and masculine cuts. I started at the bottom, worked my way up to managing, and eventually became a regional educator helping other stylists grow. Now, I’ve taken the leap to open my own shop and be my own boss — and it’s been amazing so far.
My loft is a chill, welcoming space where you can unwind without feeling overwhelmed. Start your visit with a complimentary drink (yes, adult beverages too), enjoy a relaxing shampoo with a scalp massage, and finish with pro products to keep your hair looking fresh. Not sure how to describe what you want? No worries — we’ll talk it through and find the right look together.
Everyone’s welcome in my chair. No kid is too young, and I offer designated days for clients with sensory sensitivities. I’m also proud to be an LGBTQ+ ally.
